We’re pleased to welcome Patricia to the FAIME team! Patricia Rengel has recently come onboard as a Fellow Scientist at AIDA and the Latin America Coordinator of FAIME.

She is a geologist who graduated from Yachay Tech University in Ecuador and completed her master's studies in Environment and Sustainable Development at Kyung Hee University in South Korea.

‍Patricia has experience in data analysis, project management for sustainable development in international organizations, and has worked on disseminating scientific topics to various audiences. She has also been part of several research groups in different areas of earth sciences. Additionally, she is a volunteer mentor for university students who wish to apply for scholarships to continue their professional training outside of Ecuador.
